About the TVS Credit E.P.I.C 6.0 Challenge
The TVS Credit E.P.I.C 6.0 Challenge is an annual competition organized by TVS Credit to identify and nurture young talent in the IT domain. It provides a platform for students to apply their theoretical knowledge to practical challenges and develop innovative solutions. The competition comprises multiple rounds, with each round evaluating participants based on their technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.
Eligibility Criteria:
B.Tech/B.E students from 3rd and 4th year, M.E./M.Tech students and MBA (IT) students are eligible to participate.
The participants should be full-time students of the same college.
The participants could either register individually or as a team of two.
One person can’t be a member of more than one team.

Demo Quiz Round
Participants are recommended to undergo a Demo quiz round to make themselves familiar with the platform. This is NOT an elimination or evaluation round.

Treasure Hunt
Teams have to answer 20 questions around TVS Credit and their portfolio of products. The hints for these questions will be disclosed on TVS Credit’s Instagram stories at regular intervals.

Team leaders from teams shortlisted in Round 1 will have to solve 2 coding challenges in 90 minutes. The round can be attempted at any time within the 6-hour window.

Round 3 – Case Study Challenge
Teams to propose a solution(s) and showcase the problems they will be addressing through their proposed solutions. Present your solution through a framework/proof of concept through PPT, it can include an explanation of your solution with a Prototype/Screens/Wireframe (if required).

Grand Finale
Shortlisted teams will present their solutions to the jury.
Team Formulation Guidelines:
Each team must choose a name for their team.
It is the team leader’s responsibility to ensure that all the team members are eligible to participate in the contest.
Violation of the eligibility criteria or team constitution will automatically disqualify the team.
TVS Credit reserves the right to check the validity of the registration information submitted at any point in time.
Modification of team members post-registration will not be allowed.
Cross-college teams are not allowed.
Stages
Round 1: Quiz
The quiz window will be open for 8 hours.
Each Team Leader will get a set of 30 questions, which need to be answered in 30 minutes.
The teams will be ranked based on the score and the finishing time; This means that if two teams have the same score, then the team that finished earlier will be ranked higher.
Participating teams will move on to the next level based on their performance in this assessment.
The results of the quiz will be declared after a day from the end of Round 1.
The top 15 teams from Treasure Hunt do not need to attempt the Quiz Round. They get a direct entry to Round 3.
Round 2: Coding Challenge
Shortlisted teams from the quiz round will participate in the coding challenge.
The coding window will be open for 6 hours.
The teams will be ranked based on the score and finishing time. This means that if two teams have the same score, then the team that finished earlier will be ranked higher.
Participating teams will move on to the next level, based on their performance in this coding assessment.
The results of the coding challenge will be declared after 2-4 days from the end of Round 2.
The top 15 teams from Treasure Hunt do not need to attempt the Coding Challenge. They get a direct entry to Round 3.
Round 3: Case Study Challenge
Shortlisted teams from Round 2 and Treasure Hunt will participate in the case study round.
In Round 3, real-time problem statement will be shared. The teams will be required to submit a solution.
Teams to propose a solution(s) and showcase the problems they will be addressing through their proposed solutions. Present your solution through a framework/proof of concept through PPT, it can include an explanation of your solution with a Prototype/Screens/Wireframe (if required).
The participating teams in this round will move on to the next level based on their performance.
Round 4: Grand Finale
- In the final round of E.P.I.C, the shortlisted teams will have to build a prototype (Coding required) based on the solutions suggested in Round 3.
- They will be given 15 days to build and present the prototype. The finale date will be shared soon.
