About the Flipkart
Flipkart was founded in October 2007 in Mumbai by Sachin Bansal and Binny Bansal, alumni of the IIT, Delhi, and former Amazon employees. The company initially focused on online book sales with country-wide shipping. Flipkart slowly grew in prominence and was receiving 100 orders per day by 2008.
In 2010, Flipkart acquired the Bangalore-based social book discovery service WeRead from Lulu.com.
In 2011, Flipkart acquired the digital distribution business Mime360.com and the digital content library of the Bollywood portal Chakpak. Following the acquisition, Flipkart launched its DRM-free online music store Flyte in 2012. Due to competition from free streaming sites, Flyte was unsuccessful and shut down in June 2013.

Competition Structure
Virtual Kick-Off Event
Flipkart will host an event for all the registered participants, to talk about details and queries regarding the Quiz Round. It will be followed by discussions on the case studies for this edition by Flipkart Leaders.

Round 1 – Online Quiz:
All members of the registered teams will be required to take a 30-minute quiz, and the average of their scores will be considered for evaluation
It is mandatory for all the members of a team to attempt the online quiz round. In case a member of a team does not attempt the quiz round, that team’s score will be considered null and void
The quiz will be a mix of cases, picture-based, and theme-based questions testing the domain knowledge of the students. The quiz will be in MCQ format.

Round 2 – Case Study Challenge:
All the qualifying teams across all campuses based on the quiz will move to Round 2.
The case study can be accessed once the round is live.
The solutions must be uploaded on the Unstop platform in the format that is mentioned in the case study.
The submission of the idea(s) should be made in not more than 3 slides.
Any submission made past the deadline will not be accepted for evaluation.
The presentation should NOT include the college names.

Semi-Finale (Detailed PPT Submission):
Based on Flipkart’s evaluation of the submissions made by all the teams, the top teams will be identified. These teams will move to the Semi-Finals.
A brief about the round will be shared with the qualifying teams separately.
These teams will have to submit a detailed PPT of max. 8 slides (excluding cover slides and annexures) with innovative ideas and problem-solving based on insights from the last round.
All supporting information/graphs/datasheets/other aids can be clubbed as annexures along with the submission.
The presentation should NOT include the college names.
Multiple submissions in the same track will lead to disqualification.
Any submission post-deadline will not be considered for evaluation
The format of the submission will be PDF.

Round 3 – Hybrid Semi-Finale:
All teams will be presenting their submissions to Flipkart Leaders in an online or offline mode as per the schedule received.
The panel will evaluate the performance based on the 15-minute presentation + 10 minutes of Q&A.

Mentorship by Flipkart Leaders:
Based on their performance and evaluations in the semi-final, top teams will become national finalists.
All finalist teams will be assigned a mentor from Flipkart to help them enhance their presentation and solutions, and prepare them for the Grand Finale.
National Finals (Submission Round)
All Finalists will be required to submit their final presentations. Teams will be assigned a mentor from Flipkart to help them enhance their presentation and solutions, and prepare them for the Grand Finale.

Round 4 – National Finale:
The event will be hosted at the Flipkart Office in Bengaluru.
The Finalists will present their submissions to a panel of eminent leaders of Flipkart.
The duration of the presentation will be 15 mins, followed by 15 mins round of Q&A.
Results will be declared and the national winners and runners-up (from each domain) will be rewarded in a glittering ceremony.

Team Formation Guidelines
There should be 1- 3 members in each team.
Cross-campus teams are allowed.
Cross-year teams are allowed.
Cross-specialization teams are allowed.
Any changes to the team constitution will not be allowed post-registration.
There is no upper limit to the number of teams from a campus.

Rewards and Prizes
National Winners: The National Winners will be rewarded Electronic Gift Vouchers worth INR 2,00,000 (EGVs may be subjected to TDS).
Runners-Up: The Runners-Up will be rewarded Electronic Gift Vouchers worth INR 1,00,000 (EGVs may be subjected to TDS).
PPIs: Selected 2nd-year students will also get an opportunity to bag Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs) for Full-time roles from Flipkart at the Semi-Finale Round.
Internships: Post the 2nd round of 3-Slider Submissions, 1st-year students will be offered internship interview opportunities based on performance.
Top 50 Breakthrough Talent at B-Schools across India will be published on all relevant platforms to recognize the most employable and premium talent of 2023.
Campus Winners and National Finalists will receive WiRED goodies and kits with a combined worth of INR. 3 Lakhs.
Certificates: Semi-finalists and National Finalists will receive certificates acknowledging their achievements.
Live Projects are also on the table – now get a chance not only at Internships and Full-time roles but also as externs.
Campus Winners – This year, the top 30 campus winners will be recognized and rewarded before the Semi Finale.
