About IIT Madras Free Course
Recently IIT Madras announced a collaboration with KLA Corporation, a leading semiconductor manufacturing company, and has launched a free workshop “AI and HPC in Semiconductor Manufacturing“.
This workshop is an exclusive talk on “Artificial intelligence and high-performance computing technology in semiconductor manufacturing” under the series of “National Supercomputing Mission Industry Talks“.
This course will provide the learners an everlasting learning experience of AI and HPC, as well as their further scope in the industry, which will also be discussed.
Topics to be Covered
This course will mainly cover the scopes and uses of Artificial Intelligence and HPC in semiconductor manufacturing.
Following topics will be covered and sessions on each topic will be given by experienced professors and industry specialists:
- Modern AI in manufacturing
- Challenges in Adopting ML in manufacturing
- TensorFlow – The path from Model to HW
- Minimizing copy overhead while sharing GPUs on a single box
- AI Inference on CPUs

Students from any degree or college can apply. This program is open to all.
