About the DRDO Paid Internship 2025
Defence Geoinformatics Research Establishment(DGRE) is one of the premier laboratories of the Defence R&D Organisation (DRDO). DGRE invites applications from students (Indian citizens) with an excellent academic record for the Paid Internship for a period of six months. Applications are invited from eligible students pursuing undergraduate/postgraduation studies in engineering/science in the prescribed format, latest by 15th Dec 2025, for the following disciplines
Who Can Apply for the DRDO paid internship 2025?
The DRDO Paid Internship 2025 targets motivated students in technical fields:
Pursuing a Graduate/Post Graduate in Engineering and Science, a full-time course in the respective discipline from a recognised Indian University/Institute.
DRDO free certificate internship
Certificate of completion will be awarded to the student upon successful completion of the Internship, which includes clearing of evaluation of project work, submission of the project report, and completion of other formalities.
If the student is unable to complete the internship and leaves in between, then a Certificate of Completion will not be issued to such students, and no payment will be made.
Selection Process of DRDO Paid Internship 2025
DGRE/DRDO shall offer paid internship to students with a good academic record with 75% & above marks (or ≥ 7.5 CGPA) from AICTE/UGC approved colleges/ Universities.
Principal/ HOD/ TPO of the institution should send a request letter for Paid Internship for their highly deserving meritorious students only.
Age Limit: – Below 28 Years
Eligible students will be selected based on CGPA of all previous semesters/ Percentage of marks of all previous semesters/ years, and Online/ telephonic interview/interaction as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.
Selected students will only be notified about the joining procedures through email to the email ID of the student mentioned in the application form.
Incomplete/erroneous applications received or received after the due date will be rejected. No further communication in this regard will be entertained.
Selection will be based entirely on merit basis/ suitability of candidates for the project/ assignment, etc., after going through the applications and shortlisting the candidates (as per the vacancies indicated above). In case oa f tie, the marks of the lower examination shall be considered as tie – tie-breaker. No communication will be undertaken for rejected students.

Documents of DRDO Paid Internship 2025
Bonafide Certificate from the College
No Objection Certificate (NOC) from college authorities (in original) on college letterhead, mentioning that the student will be relieved for internship at DGRE.
Police verification from Hometown/place of residence to be submitted at the time of joining (if selected).
Undertaking for adherence to the Indian Official Secrets Act,1923.
Undertaking that interns will follow the IT Rules and Regulations applicable to the Ministry of Defence and its amendments thereof.
Selected students need to provide the bank details for the transfer of the stipend
At the time of joining, the student is required to bring the Aadhar Card (in Original) along with the college ID card for verification. They should also submit 03 nos. passport-size photographs at the time of joining.
All B.Tech /M.Tech/M.Sc. Previous semesters’ mark sheets in original for verification or a letter from the college certifying that the Original certificates are held with them.
Original documents will be returned immediately after verification
Any other documents if required, will be communicated to the student at the time of selection/joining.

Duration
The duration of the internship/ project work will be for a period of 06 months. The student will be required to submit a progress report after 3 months and a project report after 6 months/ completion of the training. After successful completion of the project and submission of the report, DGRE will issue a certificate to the student.
DRDO stipend internship 2025
Stipend for internship for a period of 06 months is applicable only when the student is present at the Lab for a minimum of 15 working days per month.
Payment will be made in two instalments. First instalment will be paid after 03 months of Internship, and the Second instalment will be paid after completion of 06 months of internship. Stipend will be paid directly to the bank account of the student.
