About ADB
An international development finance institution with its main office in Manila, Philippines, is the Asian Development Bank (ADB). The goal of ADD is to fight poverty and encourage regional economic development that is sustainable. Policy dialogue, loans, equity investments, guarantees, grants, and technical assistance are the main tools used by ADB to assist its developing member countries.
About ADB Internship Program
Graduate students can gain experience through research assignments that are based on the current operational needs of ADB through the internship program, which is a project-oriented teaming opportunity. ADB posts openings for internships twice a year and encourages motivated, receptive, and self-directed people to apply.

Location:
Upon selection, you will receive a letter informing you of the internship’s location or duty station.
Duration
One internship assignment should last for a minimum of 8 weeks (56 days) and a maximum of 11 weeks.

Eligibility Criteria
The interested candidate must meet the following requirements:-
- enrolled both before and after the internship assignment in a Master’s or Ph.D. program at a university in one of the ADB member countries.
- studying academically in a subject that is directly related to the work of ADB
- possessing the nationality of an ADB member
- must have a command of English that is excellent
- have experience in their field that is pertinent to the assignment

On board: June 2023 onwards

Benefits
- All interns receive a stipend for the duration of their internship. Interns covered by the special arrangement category between specific schools and ADE would not be eligible for a stipend.

Selection Process
- Candidates select assignments of interest after ADB posts the assignment to its website.
- ACES is used for applications. get ready for their resumes, and respond to the essay questions
- Applications are evaluated by Asian Development Bank based on eligibility criteria, the applicability of academic training and professional experience, and the degree of interest and motivation to participate in development work. Asian Development Bank also takes institutional diversity, gender equality, and nationality balance into account.
