About CERN Administrative Student Program 2023
The nuclear research facility, CERN, is offering students in non-STEM fields and disciplines, including translation, human resources, business administration, logistics, law, finance, accounting, library, etc., a residential internship in Geneva, Switzerland, as part of its CERN Administrative Student Programme 2023.

Eligibility Criteria
Please find the following information regarding eligibility for the CERN Administrative Student Programme 2023:
- Candidates must be citizens of a member or associate member state of CERN. An Associate Member State is India.
At the time of the subsequent student committee in October 2023, candidates should have finished at least 18 months of their undergraduate (Bachelor’s or Master’s) studies with a focus in an administrative field.
The candidates must continue to be enrolled full-time in school throughout the internship. - a strong command of either French or English.
Selection Process
- A CERN expert selection committee chooses the candidates. In order to assess all applications, the panel convenes three times a year in February, June, and October.
- In the period from July 31 until the middle of October 2023, CERN experts will evaluate the current batch of submissions. Candidates might be contacted during this time for a phone or video interview or for more details.
- By October 31, 2023, the findings of the hiring procedure will be made public.
- Around 50 students are chosen to participate in the programme each year, according to the notification for the CERN Administrative Student Programme 2023.
- The selection of interns for a 2- to 12-month contract of association will take place.
