About MIETY –
Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) is responsible forformulation, implementation and review of national policies in the field ofInformation Technology, Electronics and Internet (all matters other than
licensing of Internet Service Provider). Its mission is to promote eGovernance for empowering citizens; promoting the inclusive and sustainable growth of the Electronics, IT and ITeS industries; enhancing India‟s role in Internet Governance; adopting a multipronged approach that includes development of human resources; promoting R&D and innovation; enhancing efficiency through digital services; and ensuring a secure cyber space.
Eligibility Criteria –
- Indian students from recognized universities in India who have secured at least 60% marks in the last held degree or certificate examination and pursuing B.E/ B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Sc.(Electronics)/MCA/ DoEACC „B‟ level/LL.B shall be eligible.
Duration of the Internship –
Two months to maximum of 3 months is the Duration of Internship.
Selection Process –
| (i) The Interns will be shortlisted and selected by the respective organisations/Groups/Divisions for their concerned domain. (ii) For selection of interns, personal or Skype Interview, may be conducted, if deemed necessary. No TA / DA shall be paid to candidates for attending the personal interview. (iii) List of selected candidates would be displayed on the web portal. |
Benefit –
- On successful completion of internship, Miety will issue a Certificate of Internship based on individual performance of Candidates .
- Reward will be paid to the interns during internship, depending on qualifications, experience and duration committed upto INR 10,000/- Per Month)
