Roles & Responsibilities
- You will troubleshoot IBM products, operating systems, networks, databases, applications, third-party products, and custom code.
- Become a Security Subject Matter Expert for our flagship Access Management product family.
- Analyze and resolve customer problems and service requests within agreed-upon service levels.
- To analyze technical problems, use troubleshooting/debugging techniques and tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve issues that require code fixes.
- Expand IBM’s Self-Help knowledge base by writing knowledge articles wherever they are needed.
- Provide feedback on product feature enhancements to the development team.
- To educate customers and business partners, create wikis, blogs, tech notes, technical training, and webcasts.
Required Technical Skills
- Knowledge of SAML/ Federation, OpenID, Docker, Web Services, RestAPI, and network troubleshooting – SSL concepts and network traces (Wireshark, IP trace)
- Network security, TCP/IP fundamentals, HTTP protocol Javascript, XML, JSON experience with any Access Manager product (IBM, Oracle, Siteminder, Ping, Sailpoint, Okta, etc) expertise is required.
- Understanding of LDAP/AD, databases, and the Access Manager product is required
- Knowledge of the Cloud and Container concepts is advantageous.
- Basic Unix/Linux operating system skills are needed
- Understanding any Webserver and Application servers is essential
- Concepts of virtualization – Perl/Shell scripting, VMware/ESX, or any programming language are required

Required Non-Technical Skills in IBM Interns Recruitment Drive
- Demonstrated communication abilities
- Listening abilities. Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
