The new Roadster X Plus electric motorbike was introduced by Ola Electric in India. It is priced at Rs. 1.05 lakh and Rs. 1.55 lakh, respectively, and comes in two different battery sizes: 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh. Both of these pricing are initial and ex-showroom. While the lower-spec variant’s deliveries will begin next month, the 9.1kWh trim’s dispatches will start the following quarter Ola Roadster.

The Ola Roadster X Plus’s 9.1kWh variant’s stated riding range of an incredible 501km is one of its key features. In contrast, the 4.5kWh version is said to have a 252km range. The usual guarantee for the batteries is three years, but it can be extended to five or eight years by making additional payments. Regarding performance, both versions have the same top speed of 125 kmph, with a mid-drive motor that can provide 11kW of peak power. Ola’s new Gen 3 platform serves as its foundation. For the internal circuitry, it has flat wires, which are said to have several advantages over circular cables.

Despite being Ola’s entry-level motorcycle, the Roadster X comes equipped with loads of features including a 4.3-inch LCD dash with connectivity, three ride modes (Eco, Normal, and Sport), regenerative braking, cruise control, reverse mode, tyre pressure alerts, geo and time fencing, and tow and theft fencing. The display will also get timely OTA updates. The cycle parts are quite simple with 17-inch alloy wheels suspended by telescopic forks and dual springs while stopping comes from a single disc up front and a drum at the rear. There’s a single-channel ABS and brake-by-wire system as well.
