About the Tata Imagination Challenge 2023: Stages and Timelines
Round 1 | Tata Brand Assessment
How aware are you of the world today and the world of Tata? Brush up on your general knowledge, aptitude, and Tata quotient, and answer 20 multiple-choice questions in 20 minutes. Quick responses fetch bonus points, giving you an early advantage in the competition.
Round 2 | Gamified Assessment
You’ve cleared the quiz round! Now put your logical thinking, critical reasoning, and click speed to the test in this hugely popular gamified round.
Round 3 | #imaginethat Idea Pitch
Here’s your chance to showcase your idea to the Tata group. Share a two-minute video explaining your idea, why it’s important, and how it will drive change. Plus, answer three short questions on your idea in writing. Detailed guidelines will be shared with shortlisted candidates over email.
Idea Buddy Phase (Non-Evaluative)
The top 50 candidates with the best ideas will become the Finalists, who will pitch their ideas to Tata leaders. Before the Finale, each Finalist will be paired with an Idea Buddy from Tata Group. They will help you polish and perfect your idea presentation for the Finale.
Popular Choice Awards (Non-Evaluative)
The jury’s assessment is important, but the people’s choice matters too! The Top 50 ideas will be put up for voting and three ideas with the maximum votes will win exciting prizes.
Round 4 | Grand Finale
Finalists, this is your moment to shine! Present your idea to a panel of senior Tata leaders in the final round of the Tata Imagination Challenge. Tell them about the problem you want to solve, the impact your idea can make, and your own career aspirations. The top 13 Winners of Tata Imagination Challenge 2023 walk away with a prize of INR 2 lakhs each.

Eligibility Criteria
You are eligible for this track if:
You are a college-going student (undergraduate or postgraduate) from any stream in any part of India
You are currently a full-time student
You have completed 10+2 schooling or equivalent
You are enrolled in a regular or full-time course, undergraduate or postgraduate, in a university or college in India
You are pursuing courses approved by AICTE or UGC or one-year management courses approved by business schools
Your classes have begun for the current academic year

Who is eligible to participate in Tata Imagination Challenge 2023?
Tata Imagination Challenge has two different tracks – Student and In-House Track. College-going students (undergraduate or postgraduate) from any stream in any part of India are eligible for the Student Track while permanent employees of any Tata company or Tata joint venture company globally (including employees who are on sabbatical) are eligible for In House Track.

What are the guidelines to follow for Tata Brand Assessment?
After registering, you will have access to the Tata Brand Assessment. To begin the assessment, simply click on the verify/play button next to the round. This round will consist of 20 multiple-choice questions based on general knowledge, aptitude, and Tata brands, and you will have 20 minutes to answer them.
