About Microsoft

About Microsoft Research Fellows Program
Microsoft Research India is currently accepting applications for this Program. The Research Fellows program exposes India’s bright minds to world-class research and cutting-edge technology. Students in the program are prepared for careers in research, engineering, and entrepreneurship. MSR India is home to some of the most innovative researchers in computer science and technology.
Responsibilities
MSR India employs RFs for one to two years. Different projects necessitate a unique set of skills. Solving deep theoretical problems, pushing the boundaries of AI, designing new programming languages, designing and implementing security protocols at scale, fieldwork in rural India, prototyping communication and sensing hardware, and designing and building large-scale software systems and networks are all areas where RFs have worked. Regardless, they all strive to have an impact on academia, industry, and society.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have a bachelor’s (BE/BTech/BS) or master’s (ME/MTech/MS) degree in Computer Science (or a related field) by Summer 2023. We evaluate candidates based on a number of factors, including academic performance, raw intelligence, development skills, and a strong interest in research and software development.
