Info About Reliance Foundation
Mukesh Ambani founded the Reliance Foundation, a non-profit organization in India, in 2010. It is one of the biggest nonprofit foundations in the nation and is fully owned by Reliance Industries Limited.
Reliance has been awarding scholarships to deserving students for more than 25 years. This initiative was motivated by Reliance Founder-Chairman Shri Dhirubhai Ambani’s conviction that investing in the next generation is the best way to ensure the progress of the country.
Through initiatives in primary, secondary, and tertiary education, Reliance Foundation accelerates India’s educational quotient through a two-pronged strategy: creating world-class institutions that serve as models for the country’s education system transformation and encouraging India’s youth to create solutions to the challenges facing the country.
About Reliance Foundation Scholarship
Through the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships, the Reliance Foundation will support up to 5,000 deserving undergraduate students from underprivileged communities in 2022–2023 who are pursuing any field of study they choose, as well as up to 100 of India’s top postgraduate students who are pursuing eligible fields of study.
Undergraduate Scholarships 2022-23
Eligibility Criteria
- Students must be enrolled full-time in their first year of an undergraduate degree program at an accredited Indian institution, in any stream.
- A minimum of 60% in class 12 is required for graduation.
- A household’s annual income should not exceed INR 15,00,000. (preference will be given to those students whose family income is less than INR 2,50,000)
- Only open to Indian citizens who live there.
Required Documents
The following documents must be included by the applicants when submitting their applications:-
- Passport-sized photograph
- Address Proof (for address ticked as preferred physical correspondence address)
- Marksheets of 10th and 12th Class Board Examination
- Bonafide Student Certificate of current college/institution of enrollment, or Student ID Card
- Family Income Proof
- Official Disability Certificate (if applicable)
Benefits
- You have a good opportunity as you will not have to depend on your parents for money if you are selected
- Over the course of the degree program, there will be a total scholarship available to selected candidates upto Rs.2 lacs

Postgraduate Scholarships 2022-23
Eligibility Criteria
- Only those students may apply for this scholarship who are enrolled in the first year of a full-time postgraduate degree programme in one of the following streams:
- Computing Science
- Machine intelligence
- Computing and Mathematics
- Engineering in electrical or electronic systems
- Engineering, Chemical
- Automotive Engineering
- New and Renewable Energy
- Engineering & Material Sciences
- Health Sciences
- must have gotten 500 to 1,000 in the GATE exam OR Must have a minimum undergraduate CGPA of 7.5 (or a percentage normalized to it) [If students have not taken the GATE].

- Current Resume
- Marksheets of 10th and 12th Class Board Examination
- Marksheet of GATE Entrance Examination (if applicable)
- Official transcript/ Marksheet of undergraduate degree
- Bonafide Student Certificate of current college/institution of enrollment, or Student ID Card
- Two essays: Personal Statement and Statement of Purpose
- 2 Reference Letters: 1 academic and 1 character
- Experience certificate/ letter/s from work experience/ internships (if applicable)
- Official Disability Certificate (if applicable
