About Udacity & Bertelsmann Scholarship Program
Bertelsmann and Udacity are collaborating to provide scholarships to students. Learn valuable skills to launch a hugely profitable career in data science programming, cybersecurity, or front-end web development. Learners get a scholarship from Bertelsmann to do these courses for free.
Courses in this Scholarship Program
- Programming for Data Science with Python- Students will be taught how to manipulate large data sets, perform version control, and access modern databases, all while becoming familiar with a valuable programming tool and language used by today’s data scientists.
- Introduction to Cybersecurity- In order to meet security compliance goals, students will keep an eye on the security of computer systems even while analyzing and reacting to threats and incident
- Front End Web Developer- Students will learn how to build and develop websites and applications with CSS, Flexbox, CSS Grid, JavaScript, and HTML, as well as how to automate application deployment with Webpack and Service Worker.
Eligibility Criteria of Udacity & Bertelsmann Scholarship Program
This scholarship program is for you if you are 18 or older, have English comprehension, and want to develop job-ready abilities in data science, cybersecurity, or front-end web development.

Important Note
Applicants who are applying to the program have to choose one of three tracks which are Programming for Data Science, Introduction to Cybersecurity, or Front End Web Developer.
Phases of Program
- Phase 1: 17,000 accepted applicants will enroll in a challenge course for their chosen track, where they will learn the fundamentals of their chosen topic. Prerequisites for the cybersecurity and front-end web development tracks will be tested in order for applicants to qualify. There are no prerequisites for the data science programming track.
- Phase 2: The top 500 students in their respective challenge courses are awarded a Nanodegree program scholarship

- Last Date of Scholarship Application Submission: Monday, November 28, 2022
- Selected applicants are notified on Friday, December 9, 2022
- Phase 1 Challenge start date: Thursday, December 15, 2022
- Phase 1 Challenge end date: Friday, February 13, 2023
- Phase 2 Nanodegree start date: Thursday, March 16, 2023
- Phase 2 Nanodegree end date: Thursday, July 13, 2023
