Reliance Foundation is an Indian non-profit organization that was founded in 2010 by Mukesh Ambani. It is wholly owned by Reliance Industries Limited and is one of the largest non-profit foundations in the country.

About the Relainace Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships
Half of India’s population, or over 600 million Indians, are under the age of 25. Reliance Foundation is committed to strengthening young people’s access to higher education in India. The Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships aim to support up to 5,000 meritorious students based on a merit-cum-means criteria for their undergraduate college education, empowering them to continue their studies without financial burden. The Scholarships aim to enable students to become successful professionals and realize their dreams, unlocking their potential to lift themselves and their communities up and contribute towards India’s future socio-economic development.
Students with a household income of under Rs. 15 lakh who are enrolled in the first year of their undergraduate studies pursuing any subject stream can apply. The program will also aim to encourage applications by girls and specially-abled students.
Selected scholars will receive a scholarship of up to 2 lakhs over the duration of their degree program. In addition to the scholarship grant, the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships will provide scholars an opportunity to be part of a vibrant alumni network and an enabling support system that will create long-term impact on their lives and career trajectories.
Eligibility criteria
Be a resident Indian citizen.
Passed Std. 12th with a minimum of 60% marks.
Currently enrolled in 1st year regular full-time degree course in any stream.
Students having household income less than or equal to Rs. 15 lakhs (preference will be given to income less than Rs. 2.5 lakhs).
Please note that household income should only include parents and siblings.

The following students are not eligible:
Students who are in the 2nd year or higher
Students pursuing their degree through online, remote, distance or any other non-regular modes
Students who have passed their diploma after std. 10th
Students pursuing 2 year undergraduate degree courses
Students who do not answer the mandatory aptitude test or are found cheating during the test.

Aptitude Test
The online Aptitude test is mandatory for all applicants.
The test duration will be 60 minutes and will contain 60 Multiple Choice Questions.
Components of the test include verbal ability, analytical and logical ability, and numerical ability.

Applications will be evaluated using a combination of aptitude test scores, and academic and personal information.

Is there a family income eligibility criterion to apply for the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate scholarships?
You are eligible to apply for the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships only if your family income is equal to or less than 15 lakhs.

Students from any NAAC/UGC accredited institute are eligible to apply.
Is there an age limit to apply for the Reliance Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships?
There is no age limit to apply to the scholarship, provided you fulfill the registration criteria.
Am I eligible to apply if I have pursued a diploma after 10th Std.?
