About HDFC Bank Parivartan ECSS Program

A program called HDFC Bank Parivartan’s ECSS Programme 2023–24 aims to assist deserving and needy students from impoverished socioeconomic groups. Students in grades 1 through 12 who are enrolled in diploma, ITI, polytechnic, UG, and PG (general and professional) degrees are eligible for the scholarship programs. The ECSS program offers financial support of up to INR 75,000 to students who are at risk of dropping out because they are unable to cover the expense of education owing to personal/family crises or any other financial issues.

HDFC Bank Parivartan ECSS Program

Document Required for all HDFC Bank Parivartan ECSS Program

  • Passport size photograph
  • Previous year’s mark sheets (2022-23) 
  • Identity proof (Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/Driving License) 
  • Current year admission proof (Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/Institution ID Card/Bonafide Certificate) (2023-24)
  • Applicant Bank Passbook/Cancelled Cheque (Information will also be captured in the application form)
  • Income Proof (any of the three proofs given below)
    • Income Proof issued by Gram Panchayat/Ward Counsellor/Sarpanch
    • Income Proof issued by SDM/DM/CO/Tehsildar
    • Affidavit
  • Proof of family/personal crisis (if applicable)

School Students Scholarship

  • Eligibility Criteria-
  1. The students must be enrolled in Classes 1 through 12 as well as diploma, ITI, and polytechnic programs in private, public, or government-aided institutions.
  2. The candidates must have earned at least a 55% passing grade on their prior qualifying exam.
  3. A family’s annual income must be less than or equivalent to 2.5 lakh rupees.
  4. A preference will be given to candidates who have had personal or family difficulties during the past three years that have made it difficult for them to continue paying for their education and put them at risk of dropping out.
  5. Only open to citizens of India.
  • Benefits- Scholarship amount for various categories mentioned below:-
  1. For Class 1 to 6 – INR 15,000
  2. For Class 7 to 12, Diploma, ITI, & Polytechnic students – INR 18,000

Undergraduate Students Scholarship

  • Eligibility Criteria-
  1. The students must be enrolled in accredited colleges or universities in India and be pursuing graduate degrees (general courses such as BCom, BSc, BA, BCA, etc., and professional courses such as BTech, MBBS, LLB, B Arch, Nursing).
    The candidates must have earned at least a 55% passing grade on their prior qualifying exam.
    A family’s annual income must be less than or equivalent to 2.5 lakh rupees.
  2. A preference will be given to candidates who have had personal or family difficulties during the past three years that have made it difficult for them to continue paying for their education and put them at risk of dropping out.
  3. Only open to citizens of India.
  • Benefits- Scholarship amounts for various categories are mentioned below:-
  1. For general undergraduate courses – INR 30,000
  2. For professional undergraduate courses – INR 50,000

Postgraduate Students Scholarship

  • Eligibility Criteria-
  1. The students must be enrolled in accredited institutions or universities in India and be pursuing postgraduate studies in either general or professional fields (e.g., MTech, MBA, etc.).
  2. The candidates must have earned at least a 55% passing grade on their prior qualifying exam.
  3. A family’s annual income must be less than or equivalent to 2.5 lakh rupees.
  4. A preference will be given to candidates who have had personal or family difficulties during the past three years that have made it difficult for them to continue paying for their education and put them at risk of dropping out.
  5. Only open to citizens of India.
  • Benefits- Scholarship amounts for various categories are mentioned below:-
  1. For general postgraduate courses – INR 35,000
  2. For professional postgraduate courses – INR 75,000
