About TEC
The Telecommunication Engineering Centre, headquartered in New Delhi, is a body under the Telecom Commission and a nodal agency of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India, responsible for developing standards, generic requirements, interface requirements, service requirements, and specifications for telecom products, services, and networks. It operates four regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
Eligibility Criteria in TEC Internship Scheme
A Candidate can eligible for this internship if:-
- He/she is currently in the 3rd/4th year (Final or pre-final year) of Bachelor’s Degree course in Electronics/Communications/Telecommunication/Radio/ Information Technology/ Computers/Electrical
- She/He has completed their Bachelor’s Degree course in Electronics/Communications/ Telecommunication/ Radio/ Information Technology/ Computers Electrical Engineering or a related field in the last one year.
- He/she has completed their Post Graduate/ Master Degree course in Electronics/Communications/ Telecommunication Radio/ Information Technology/ Computers/ Electrical Engineering or related field in last one year.

Benefits of the TEC Internship Scheme
- The internship lasts at least six months and can be extended up to a maximum of twelve months.
- Selected Interns receive a token remuneration of Rs.15,000/- per month on a pro-rata basis.
- Interns also receive an internship completion certificate after the successful completion of the internship.
