YASH Technologies is thrilled to announce the launch of TechnoThrive – YASH’s nationwide hackathon, centered on Generative AI. The competition will provide an avenue for participants to put to test their passion for innovation, problem-solving, design thinking, and programming skills while winning amazing prizes in the process. This isn’t just a technical competition; it’s about thinking beyond the ordinary and crafting solutions that could reshape industries.

With that spirit, YASH Technologies is conducting TechnoThrive and invites all hackathon enthusiasts to participate in this year’s iconic challenge. Your participation isn’t just an opportunity; it’s a commitment to embracing the future.

The solutions for TechnoThrive should be based on GenerativeAI Themes as follows:

  • Open Source – LLM Models
  • Open AI APIs 
  • LangChain
  • LoRA, QLoRa, PEFT
  • Text/Image/Video/Audio/Code Generation
  • Prompt Engineering
  • Others

Techno thrive Phases:

Phase 1 – Ideation:

  • The Ideation Phase will start on Thursday, 10th August 2023.
  • This phase will be conducted online.
  • This phase requires teams/participants to share their ideas based on the theme of generative AI.
  • Click here to refer to the submission guidelines.
  • Submission file format – PPT (4-5 slides max)/word file (3-4 pages).
  • The last date for idea submission is Sunday, 20th August 2023.

Phase 2 – Development:

  • After judging the ideas shared during the ideation phase, an announcement of the shortlisted
    participants/teams will be made on Wednesday, 30th August 2023, who will move forward to the development phase.
  • The Development Phase will start on Wednesday, 30th August 2023.
  • This phase will be conducted online.
  • Shortlisted participants/teams from the 1st phase will need to build a prototype as a solution based on the idea shared in Phase 1.The last date for prototype submission is Friday, 15th September 2023.

Phase 3 – Presentation:

Only 2 team members per team will be allowed to travel and others can join virtually during the grand finale. Details of the venue will be provided upon shortlisting.

The Presentation Phase will be held on Tuesday, 26th September 2023 and the winners will be announced on the same day at the venue which will be followed by prize distribution.

Prizes & Rewards:

  • The Winner will be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 5 Lakhs, Trohpy and Certificate
  • The First Runners-up will be rewarded with a cash prize of INR 2 Lakhs, Trohpy and Certificate

What is the criteria to participate?

If you love to code, you are more than welcome to participate in the Hackathon.

What is the maximum number of participants that can be a part of a team?

Maximum 6 people per team.

Can a participant be a part of multiple teams?

A participant can only be a part of 1 team and changing team members after the idea submission is closed will not be allowed.

Does a team require a team lead? If yes, what is the eligibility criteria?

Yes, every team is required to have a team lead. The participant who registers for the team will be considered as the lead for that team.

Is a registration fee required to participate?

There is no fee to participate in the event and no fees of any kind will be charged before or after the hackathon.

What is considered for disqualification of a participant or team?

1. Participants who provide incomplete, false, erroneous, fraudulent, forged, and tampered information will not be accepted and will be disqualified. 2. A participant may be disqualified on grounds that include, but are not limited to, unlawful, obscene, or inappropriate actions, fraud, dishonesty, misappropriation or infringement of the intellectual property of others and/or any failure to comply with the TechnoThrive Hackathon terms and conditions. 3. YASH Technologies in its sole discretion may disqualify any team or participant for any other violation of the laid down policy.
