1. R Programming

In this course, you will learn how to program in R and use R for effective data analysis. You will learn how to install and configure software necessary for a statistical programming environment and describe generic programming language concepts implemented in a high-level statistical language. The course covers practical issues in statistical computing which includes programming in R, reading data into R, accessing R packages, writing R functions, debugging, profiling R code, and organizing and commenting on R code. 2. Web Application Technologies and Django

In this course, you’ll explore the basic structure of a web application, and how a web browser interacts with a web server. You’ll be introduced to the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) request/response cycle, including GET/POST/Redirect. You’ll also gain an introductory understanding of Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), as well as the overall structure of a Django application. We will explore the Model-View-Controller (MVC) pattern for web applications and how it relates to Django.
