About the Britannia Croissant internship
Britannia Industries Limited is an Indian multinational food products company, which sells biscuits, breads, and dairy products. Founded in 1892, it is one of India’s oldest existing companies and is currently part of the Wadia Group headed by Nusli Wadia. As of 2023, about 80% of its revenues came from biscuit products.
Beginning with the circumstances of its takeover by the Wadia Group in the early 1990s, the company has been mired in several controversies connected to its management, but it continues to hold a large market share
Eligibility Criteria
This Activation will be open to every individual aged 18 years or above and residing in India.
The participant should not be facing any criminal/civil or any other legal proceedings that may prejudice their participation in the Campaign in any way.
Employees of Britannia and their relatives, promotion agencies and their respective relatives, their respective agents, distributors, retailers any other channel partner, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Activation.
Participant agrees to share their phone WhatsApp number to Britannia (if not previously shared) for written/ verbal communications from Britannia about the Activation. Participants who do not have a WhatsApp number will not be eligible to participate in the Activation.
The participants, upon request from Britannia/ Agency, will have to provide their PAN Card passport Aadhaar Card Driving License Voter Card or government-issued ID card (collectively referred to as ‘ID Proof’). The Winners will be announced post verification of the ID proof.
Demanding of ID Proof is a part of the evaluation process and it does not mean that the entry has been finalized or the participant has been selected or that the benefit is guaranteed.
Britannia/ Agency reserves the right to exclude any person from participating in the Activation on grounds of misconduct, misrepresentation, coercion, fraud, deceit or for any other reasons, as it may deem fit and proper. No communication in this regard from the Participant or his representatives shall be entertained by Britannia/ Agency.

Prize/Benefit
Participant who is selected as Winner shall win INR 3 lakh (INR 300,000 only)
The images of the activation campaign as depicted on the ads/posters/pack shots etc. are indicative only.
Benefits cannot be exchanged and is not transferable and cannot be converted into benefits of any other kind in lieu thereof.
The Prize shall be subject to applicable taxes.
Note: The consideration shall be subject to statutory deduction of Tax at source as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961. The Service Provider should possess and furnish to the Company with a valid Permanent Account Number (‘PAN’) issued by the Income Tax Department which is complete in all respects as per the requirements of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
In case the PAN is not active or if the Service Provider is a specified person as per the Act or if any other requirements of the Income Tax act is not satisfied by the Service Provider which mandates the Company to deduct taxes at higher rate, the Company reserves the right to undertake actions to ensure legal compliance. A certificate for deduction of Tax at source will be provided to the Service Provider as per the provisions of the Income Tax Act, 1961, provided the Service Provider possess a valid Permanent Account Number (‘PAN’) issued by the Income Tax Department.
Selection of Winner
Britannia shall reach out, via a direct message on Instagram, to those accounts who have commented a unique or funny take on why they deserve the internship. This decision is at Britannia’s sole discretion and shall not be questioned. Thereafter they will be assigned a task wherein the selected Participants have to post a reel/post on Instagram on “Why they deserve the internship?” with the hashtag #BritanniaTreatCroissantInternship. The post which garners maximum likes and comments cumulatively will be the Winner.
There will be only One Winner.
The decision of Britannia/ Agency shall be final and binding on the Participant in this matter. Britannia/ Agency shall in no case entertain any questions, correspondence, or inquiries on the manner of the selection of Winners.
Britannia/ Agency shall, at all times, have the right to exercise its discretion on the selection of Winners, in order to ensure equity and fairness for all Participants, as per the Terms and Conditions.

In order to participate in this Activation, Participants have to follow the below 2 steps:
i. Fill out the internship application on the chatbot that appears in WhatsApp upon registering your phone number; and
