About IIIT Guwahati
The Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) is a public technical university established by the Government of India, located in the Amingaon area, North Guwahati Village area, in the state of Assam in India.
It is the sixth Indian Institute of Technology established in India. IIT Guwahati is officially recognised as an Institute of National Importance by the government of India.IIT Guwahati has been ranked 7th in Engineering and 9th in Overall category in NIRF Rankings 2023.
The history of IIT Guwahati traces its roots to the 1985 Assam Accord signed between the All Assam Students Union and the Government of India, which mentions the general improvement in education facilities in Assam and specifically the setting up of an IIT.

Healthcare Empowerment through Real-time Insurance Assessment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Students in B.Tech/M.Tech of CSE/IT department.
- The candidate should have a basic knowledge of Real-time systems Cloud Computing, Internet of Things.
- Desired Technical Skills: Android studio, Java, Python/Django, MySQL/Mongo DB, Postman, AWS server.

Internship Description:
- The project involves the development of a real-time mobile application for insurance assessment.
- Mere fulfilment of the eligibility criteria does not guarantee selection.
- The selection procedure may either be offline or online. The institute will decide on the selection process.
- The institute reserves the right to not select any of the candidates.

- The internship will be conducted from first week of May 2024 till end of July 2024 (tentatively).
- The last date of receiving the application will be 28 April 2024 (Sunday).
