The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has unveiled an exciting opportunity for aspiring space enthusiasts with the announcement of the START 2024 program. Scheduled to take place in April-May, START 2024 aims to provide free space science and technology training to undergraduate and postgraduate students in India. This initiative is designed to enhance awareness and interest in space science and technology among the youth, offering a platform for students to delve into introductory-level topics and explore Indian space exploration programs.

About the ISRO Free Space Science Training news

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will conduct the Free Space science and Technology Awareness Training (START) 2024 programme during April and May.

In this regard, educational institutions, colleges, and universities in India that provide UG and PG programs in the physical sciences and technology are invited to submit Expressions of Interest (EOI) to organize START-2024.

The primary goal of the training program is to get young people interested in space science and technology.

The training modules will cover a variety of space science and technology sectors at an introductory level. There will also be talks about Indian space exploration initiatives and research prospects.

Eligibility for the training program is limited to postgraduate students and final year undergraduate students enrolled in Indian educational institutes, universities, and colleges studying physical sciences (physics and chemistry) and technology (e.g., electronics, computer science, mechanical, Applied Physics, Radiophysics, Optics & Opto-electronics, Instrumentation, and other related subjects).
