About the Post-Matric Scholarship
Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme Government of India, Maharashtra 2023-24 is an initiative of the Tribal Development Department, Government of Maharashtra to provide financial support to Scheduled Tribe (ST) community students of the state. The scholarship encourages ST students from financially underprivileged backgrounds to pursue higher studies after Class 10. The selected candidates will receive a maintenance allowance and other benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
Belong to the Scheduled Tribe (ST) Category of Maharashtra
Have passed Class 10
Have an annual family income of not more than ₹2,50,000
Not have a gap of more than 2 years in their formal education

Benefits
The selected students for this scholarship program will receive the following maintenance allowance and other grants:
For Hostellers/Day Scholars:
Group 1: ₹550 to 1,200
Group 2: ₹530 to 820
Group 3: ₹300 to 570
Group 4: ₹230 to 380
Reader Allowance:
Group1-2: ₹240
Group 3: ₹200
Group 4: ₹160
Escort Allowance: ₹160 per month.
Special Pay: ₹160
For the Mentally Retarded, Extra Coaching: ₹240 per month
Study Tours: ₹1,600 per annum
Thesis Typing/Printing: ₹1,600 per annum
Book Grant: ₹1,200 per annum
