It was established under the Gujarat Universities Act (Act 9 of 2016) on 9 May 2016. Marwadi University is a prominent University in Western India with a Global vision. About the National Model UN Competition
National Model United Nations competition is a simulation of the United Nations (UN) where students represent different countries and engage in debates and discussions on international issues in various committees.
MUNs also have Model Youth Parliaments in the forms of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, and AIPPM (All India Political Parties Meet) where students represent different politicians and political parties of India and discuss national issues concerning India.
it is organizing a MUN (Model United Nations) on 4th and 5th November 2023 at the University Campus with 12 interesting committees.
It includes the International Committees of the United Nations(UN) as well as the Indian Model Youth Parliament committees.
The competition strives to give a platform to the budding diplomats of our country to imbibe analytical, research, and speaking skills.
The aim is to engage with students and allow them to have a great experience in addressing real-time issues by presenting themselves as leaders.
Eligibility Criteria
Students of high school and above till graduation level across all the schools and Universities of India.

Language
The official language of all UN Committees will be English.
The official language of all the Indian Committees will be English and Hindi.
The official language of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly will be Gujarati, Hindi and English.

At the time of registration, participants have to give their preference for the committee, they will be allowed committees as per their preference subject to their availability
