The INNOTHON 2023 Energy Innovation Hackathon is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together students, professionals, and innovators from all backgrounds to develop innovative solutions for the energy sector. The hackathon is organized by the National Institute of Technology, Warangal (NITW) in collaboration with Hitachi Energy.

About the Energy Innovation Hackathon
National Institute of Technology Warangal, formerly Regional Engineering College was established in 1959. Over the years it has developed into a premier institute of higher learning and is ranked among India’s top technical education institutions. There are 13 Departments offering eight undergraduate and 32 post-graduate programmers besides doctoral programmers.
Objective
Teams of NITW students to deliberate, ideate and come up with proposals for piloting innovative solutions for promoting and using sustainable energy in the future.

Team Size
3-5 students of any branch of engineering.
One girl member is mandatory in each team.
Inter-disciplinary teams are encouraged.
Other Details
Hardware components used to implement the Idea will be reimbursed for the production of valid bills.
All the students of shortlisted teams will receive T-shirts and a Registration kit.
Registration Fee
Registration fee – Rs.500 per Team (Fully Reimbursable upon participation in the event)
