About the Customer Engineering Internship

And our teams are dedicated to helping our customers and developers see the benefits of our technology come to life.
In this role, you will inspire businesses, educational institutions, and government agencies to reap the benefits of cloud technologies. You will be seen as a trusted advisor on companies future architecture and operations. You, with your mentor, liaise with cross-functional internal teams to understand industry trends and work with engineering teams to help them devise enhancements and prioritize customer feature requests to Google Cloud products.
You will develop technical, communication, and organizational skills, and you will have a chance to further develop experience in our cloud platform. You’ll also develop expertise and presentation skills that will be on display to highlight the client’s business and technical requirements and persuasively present Google’s product offering while mapping those back to the customer requirements and needs.

Eligibility Criteria
Minimum qualifications:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform products and database offerings.
Ability to communicate in English fluently, as the role requires interactions with English speakers and stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new and emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the program after the completion of the internship.
Role and Responsibility
Work with the team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop the strategy to resolve technical impediments to transactions.
Work with customer engineers on technical aspects of solutions, including such activities as supporting bid responses, product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of supporting technical resources.
Work with Google Cloud Platform products to demonstrate and prototype integrations.
