About the IIT Madras
Indian Institute of Technology Madras (popularly known as IITM or IIT Madras) is a public technical university located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the eight public Institutes of Eminence of India. As one of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), IIT Madras is also recognized as an Institute of National Importance.
Founded in 1959 with technical and financial assistance from the former government of West Germany, it was the third Indian Institute of Technology established by the Government of India. IIT Madras is consistently ranked as the top engineering institute in India by the Ministry of Education’s National Institutional Ranking Framework since the inception of the NIRF ranking system in 2016.
About the SENAI
SENAI (Systems Engineering for the Natural and Artificial @ IITMadras) is a research lab at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. SENAI is led by Professor Raghunathan Rengaswamy, department of chemical engineering at IIT Madras. We are a group of researchers comprising Ph.D., master’s, and graduate scientists working on various aspects of systems engineering. SENAI comprises the following subgroups:

Role and Responsibility
Assist in User Research: Collaborate with the team to conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather valuable insights.
Wireframing and Prototyping: Create wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize design concepts and user flows.
Visual Design: Work on the visual aspects of design, including creating high-fidelity mockups and polished interface elements.
Collaboration: Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment of design goals.
Design Iteration: Participate in design critiques and iterate based on feedback to refine and improve designs.
Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute fresh ideas to the team.
