Eligibility Criteria of DevOps Developer

The preferred technical and professional expertise includes experience with Data Engineering pipelines and Agile Development Methodologies. A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience is required. The candidate must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated before the start date and proof of vaccination status will be required.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a DevOps Engineer in the Sustainability Software organization, you bring technical expertise and a passion for successfully adopting DevOps tools and practices. You are a problem solver at heart with a passion and drive to innovate and disrupt the current status quo on how to accomplish a task, resulting in automating and optimizing the DevOps workflow. 

Serving as a technical team member in the development team and contributing your knowledge and expertise towards the project’s success.

Implementing containerized workflows using technologies such as RedHat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, Travis CI, and other open-source solutions.

Diagnosing environmental issues and introducing/implementing technologies to solve them.

Staying up-to-date on the latest container platform releases and containerization techniques.

Provision and maintenance of DevOps Infrastructure

2+ years experience with:

Openshift, Kubernetes Orchestration Platforms

Automation with Ansible, Python, Shell scripts, AWS AMI/CFT

Experience in Deploy, automating and maintaining applications in cloud environments like IBM Cloud/AWS/GCP

Experience with CI/CD Pipelines

Linux Administration
