About ONGC

The Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India, is the owner of the central public sector enterprise known as The Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited. Info About ONGC Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship programme is an effort of the ONGC Foundation to aid deserving students from the SC/ST/OBC and General categories in pursuing their higher education. Under this scholarship, first-year students in the engineering, MBBS, MBA, or master’s programme in geophysics/geology are given a scholarship of INR 48,000 every year to help them finish their education.

This fellowship was established by the ONGC Foundation, a trust established by ONGC, as part of its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) programme to aid deserving students from underrepresented groups in society.

Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who are enrolled in one of the following course:-

1. Engineering
2. MBBS
3. MBA
4. Master’s degree in Geology, Geophysics

• Candidates for the MBBS or engineering programmes must have at least 60% in their Class 12 grades.
• Applicants for the  Graduation for PG courses in Geology/Geophysics/MBA must have at least 60% in their Class 12 grades.
• The candidate’s total annual income is less than INR 2,000,000.

Required Document

1. Certified copy of Caste Certificate in Hindi/ English
2. Copy of Birth Certificate/Class 10 marksheet as proof of age
3. Copy of Class 12 marksheet in case of Engineering/MBBS students
4. Copy of consolidated Graduation marksheet in case of MBA/Master’s in Geology/Geophysics students
5. Certified copy of the annual income certificate of the family in Hindi/English language
6. Bank details of the applicant in the ECS form attested by the bank as prescribed
7. Copy of PAN card or the tentative date for submission of PAN card copy (in case, original is not available)
8. Copy of Aadhaar Card
9. Copy of undertaking
