Sony India Pvt. Ltd., based in New Delhi, is the Indian subsidiary of Japan’s Sony Corporation, headquartered in Tokyo.

With the role of software taking on ever-greater importance in this digitized age, SISC is rapidly augmenting its team of engineers. In fiscal year 2010, which ended 31 March 2011, SISC had approximately 1,000 engineers on staff. Their work contributed to efforts of the entire Sony Group to advance state-of-the-art 3D technologies, as well as to the development of new products, including Sony Internet TV, Sony Tablet, Android-based mobile phones, and other devices. As the Group’s strategic offshore IT center, they worked together with Sony Group companies with the aim of reinforcing the Group’s operating foundation.
In early 2012, Sony Corp restructured its India business by creating two separate units, one for undertaking sales and marketing operations, headquartered in New Delhi, and the other for focusing on software and product development based in Bengaluru. As a result, Sony India Software Centre Pvt. Ltd. was de-merged from Sony India Pvt. Ltd. as a separate entity aiming at more effective operations
Eligibility Criteria Of Data Science Intern
Ph.D. or Master’s/Bachelors from Computer Science or data science background.
Role and Responsibility
Work with research scientists and other team members to contribute to new research work on recommender systems and other areas.
Recognize patterns and locate, analyze, and interpret data.
Code and test for the validity of new algorithms.

Preferred Skill
Must-Have:
Strong experience in Python 3.x.
Good experience and understanding of Deep Learning concepts.
Strong Experience in Pytorch/ Tensorflow and git repositories.
Experience in research and familiarity with reading research papers and quick implementations of the available repositories.
Good to Have:
Experience in Graph-based machine learning and GNNs.
Knowledge of other types of networks.
Previous experience in Recommendation Systems.
Ability to navigate through literature surveys for given research ideas swiftly.

9:00 IST to 18:00 IST (Monday to Friday) full-time.
