Info about ISRO Launched 3 Days Workshop

Space situational awareness is the entire understanding of the space environment, including the position, orbit, and purpose of every artificial item in space as well as any natural objects or phenomena like asteroids, comets, and space weather. SSA is necessary to promote safe, stable, and sustainable activities by minimizing spacecraft collisions and lessening the consequences of space debris.

The process of assuring the secure and effective operation of all space objects is known as space traffic management. STM involves gathering and analyzing SSA data, creating collision avoidance procedures, and putting such methods into practice. Additionally, STM is in charge of cleaning up space trash.

Through its outreach programs on SSA & SST, the Department of Space & ISRO has been enticing students, professors, and enthusiasts.
